Founded in 2005, AKTANTIS is a deeptech cluster based in the south of France. It brings together more than 300 members, including companies (70% SMEs), research centers, and higher education institutions, primarily in the fields of microelectronics/electronics, Internet of Things (IoT), AI and data analytics, digital security, photonics, and imaging.

AKTANTIS represents 60,000 jobs in these fields, 30 multinational companies, 1,200 public sector researchers, and 18 higher education institutions training 1,500 engineers annually.

AKTANTIS's purpose is to promote the development of competitive R&D projects within its ecosystem, with the support of local authorities, the French government, and Europe, in order to design and develop new technological solutions targeting high-growth markets.
