The SILICON ALPS Cluster (SAC) is a fast-growing network of companies, organizations, and research institutions strengthening the electronics and microelectronics sector in southern Austria. As an innovation hub, SAC connects business, academia, and politics, boosting value creation, competitiveness, employment, and regional visibility in Carinthia and Styria within Europe and beyond.
The Austrian Chips Competence Center (AT-C³) is one of Europe’s first competence centers funded by the European Chips Act Program. It acts as a central contact point (“One-Stop-Shop”) for companies and research organizations along the Electronic & Software-Based Systems (ESBS) value chain, focusing on supporting SMEs and startups.
