Do you have sound? Professional acoustic measurement with the MCD AudioAnalyzer
With the MCD AudioAnalyzer, MCD Elektronik offers a reliable, flexible tool for recording, analyzing, and evaluating audio data. The human ear is powerful, ranging from 16 Hz to 20 kHz and providing important information. Historically, acoustic signals were used for quality testing, e.g., running or impact noises from machines. Today, professional audio measurement surpasses human hearing and replaces experience with objective, standardized measurement.
The MCD AudioAnalyzer combines modern hardware and software for the precise analysis of acoustic signals in research, development, quality assurance, and maintenance and repair. Typical applications include frequency and phase response analysis of loudspeakers, microphones, amplifiers, and sound systems, as well as measurements of THD, SINAD, and distortion factor for evaluating audio quality. Unwanted noises or deviations in mechanical signals can indicate wear or impending defects. Vibrations also provide clues to structural faults and support quality testing. Reference values and comparative measurements ensure quality standards.
The hardware is reliable and designed for a variety of applications, while the software is powerful. The MCD AudioAnalyzer features digital and analog inputs/outputs, real-time signal processing, live visualization, oscilloscope and FFT spectrum analysis, and signal generation via modulation, sweep, or pulse. DAkkS certification and careful calibration ensure reproducibility and stability.
Device variants – flexible for every application
The AudioAnalyzer can be easily integrated into existing test systems. Test configurations can be saved, data imported/exported, and remotely controlled via USB, Ethernet, VCN, TeamViewer, or Remote Desktop.
