OnFILTER, a U.S. manufacturer of high-performance EMI filters, introduces its patented EMI filter to prevent electrical overstress (EOS) in soldering. High-frequency noise, or electromagnetic interference (EMI) on AC power and ground causes high voltage between the tip of the soldering iron and components on board, and the resulting current inflicts damage to the structure of the ICs, especially with fine geometry.
OnFILTER’ patented CleanSweep® soldering filters block EMI, providing clean power and ground to both soldering iron and workbench, greatly reducing possibility of electrical overstress (EOS) to sensitive components. These soldering filters improve reliability of assembled products, reduce defects and latent damage, and help manufacturers to comply with the requirements of IPC-A-610A, SEMI E.176 and other similar industry standards. CleanSweep® soldering filters come in worldwide configurations.
OnFILTER shows its CleanSweep® soldering filters at Productronica 2023 in Hall B2, Booth 518. This is the first time OnFILTER brings its products, that are already popular in North America and in Asia, to Europe
OnFILTER is located in Santa Cruz, California, USA, where all OnFILTER’s products are manufactured.
