Welding in high volumes: STÜKEN manufactures 200,000 assemblies for industry every day

As a manufacturer of deep-drawn and stamped parts, STÜKEN offers many additional possibilities in finishing and further processing. Laser welding and resistance welding are proven processes for the assembly of components according to customer specifications. STÜKEN uses state-of-the-art laser technology, for example. The innovative medium-sized company has decades of experience in these special welding processes. Interested parties can see this for themselves at the productronica Munich from November 16th to 19th, 2021, in hall B2, booth 502.

Every day, STÜKEN produces around 200,000 welded assemblies worldwide. The global presence of the company enables short-distance delivery, keyword "local for local" - and all this in proven STÜKEN quality. It is no surprise that especially the demanding customers from the automotive industry appreciate STÜKEN as a reliable partner. The deep-drawing specialist supplies assemblies for safety-relevant systems in cars in high volumes. "The systems are planned by our experts from project engineering and developed according to customer specifications. Process development is usually carried out on test systems in our in-house prototype shop in order to keep costs and delivery times for initial samples low. Time is money, also for many of our customers," explains Nils Petersohn, Managing Director at STÜKEN. "The necessary cleanliness of the equipment is particularly monitored to ensure that the welding results are constantly at a high level. Process reliability plays a major role - for us and our customers" says Petersohn. "Cleanliness also plays a major role in medical technology. If required and according to customer specifications, we can offer 100% inspection of components."

The advantages of integrated component assembly are obvious: the control loops are very short at the STÜKEN site, and any process fluctuations due to batch-based influences or even wear can be removed. "Our customers can eliminate the process of component assembly in their production and focus entirely on their core competence. This in turn saves time and their own resources in development," explains Petersohn.
