VDMA Productronics includes around 85 member companies from the electronics production equipment sector and is part of the VDMA Electronics, Micro and New Energy Production Technologies Association with over 200 member companies. The VDMA represents around 3300 companies in the medium-sized mechanical and plant engineering sector. With 1.41 million people employed in Germany, the mechanical and plant engineering sector is Germany's largest industrial employer and the backbone of the German economy.
