The FED trade association is a partner for everyone involved in the development and manufacturing of electronics. Primary objectives are the research, preparation and dissemination of current knowhow for developers, CAD designers, PCB manufacturers and components manufacturers. FED has more than 700 members and is a certified IPC training centre and distributor of IPC standards. The association offers its members and customers vocational education and training and moreover promotes the exchange in the industry by organizing many event formats. The FED operates 12 regional groups that are active throughout the German speaking countries and regularly foster an exchange of information by conducting lectures, workshops and discussions.
